Performing a post-mortem examination should be done in a consistent way to ensure you observe all of the animal and do not miss anything which could be important.
In this section we will take you through the post-mortem procedure for a medium sized dog. This method can be adapted for other species, taking into consideration anatomical differences in organs and tissues that may be present.
