Wound Management

This course offers a comprehensive guide for veterinary professionals who wish to improve their skills in diagnosing and treating wounds in companion animals. Wounds are one of the most common presentations seen in veterinary practice (particularly when treating free-roaming dog populations), but can also be one of the most challenging. This course will cover foundational information on anatomy and the physiology of healing, before taking you through a logical approach to initial assessment, treatment (including closure methods) and long term management of wounds.
